The Robin Shepherd Group Racks Up Winnings in Local ADDY Awards Competition
Jacksonville, FL – The Robin Shepherd Group was a dominating force winning 36 awards at the Addys, the local advertising industry's highest profile annual awards program and social event. The agency won 13 gold Addys, 23 silver Addys and a "Best of Show" award in the interactive category for its interactive multimedia DVD. The festivities featured a gallery preview at The Cummer Museum of Art and Gardens, followed by the awards gala and dinner at The Garden Club.
All local gold Addy winners will advance to the regional competition. With more than 60,000 entries nationally, the ADDY Awards program is the world's largest and arguably toughest advertising competition. The ADDY Awards represent the true spirit of creative excellence by recognizing all forms of advertising from media of all types, creative products and entrants of all levels from anywhere in the world. The American Advertising Federation, a not-for-profit industry association conducts the ADDY Awards through its 200 member advertising clubs and 15 districts. It is the only creative awards program administered by the advertising industry for the industry.
The winners of the Jacksonville ADDY Awards competition will be on display at The Cummer Gallery for the next two weeks before advancing to the District 4 competition, which incorporates entries from Florida, Puerto Rico and the Caribbean. Winners from the 14 regional competitions will advance to the national/ international finals in Miami in June.
