The Murray Bros. Rev Up Their PR Efforts

Bill Murray and Paul Sr.

We've been helping The Murray Brothers (Ed, Brian, Bill, Andy, John and Joel) with the charity golf tournament they host in St. Augustine, Florida for the last six years.

So when we heard that Orange County Chopper's Mikey Teutul named Bill Murray as the one person he wished he could meet, we invited him to participate in this year's tournament. Mikey and the rest of the Teutul family, stars of the Discovery Channel's hit show "American Chopper," happily accepted, and extended a special invite of their own.

They invited Bill Murray to help them create a "Caddyshack Chopper" to be auctioned off at the event. Chris Seely, our pointman on The Murray Bros. golf tournament, flew to NY and spent a couple of days with Bill and the guys filming in Orange County Chopper's Montgomery, N.Y. shop.

The collaboration is being shown in a special two-part edition of "American Chopper" and has been covered by the AP, TV Guide, and featured in commercials running on cable. The tournament has raised over $1 million for the St. Vincent's Foundation Mobile Health Outreach Ministry.

They Don't Call It World "Wide" Web For Nothing

Naples | 701 Logo

Think of all the Web sites and Web pages you visit – this one included. What do 99.9% of them have in common? They all scroll down. For the most part, that's a by-product of creating a user-friendly, easy-reading Web experience.

But, we recently launched a site that puts the "wide" in www. We were working with a real estate project down in Naples, Florida, that was targeting a young buying profile. We set out to make the Web experience appeal to that group, and to differentiate ourselves from the other real estate Web sites.

"The first place most people go to shop for real estate is the Web. Knowing that, we wanted to make sure that we provided a unique and memorable Web experience that highlights the immense community of Naples," said Web designer Travis Todd.

"The panoramic scroll took a little extra programming and a couple of gallons of late-night coffee, but was well worth it."
