Wedding Invitation

Shepherd Shows Off its Softer Side

The Robin Shepherd Group Recognized for Work Outside its Normal Scope with Wedding Invitations

Atlanta, GA and Jacksonville, FL (November 1, 2007) – Just when you thought you had The Robin Shepherd Group figured out, the company tackles a whole new realm in the design world - wedding invitations. Apparently they are doing it well because PRINT magazine, a bimonthly magazine about visual culture and design, recently selected the invitation for its 2007 Regional Design Annual.

The invitation, designed by art director/illustrator Kendrick Kidd for agency copywriter Jacquie Paul and her now-husband Bob Wojcik, features a bright illustration of two birds on a wire to represent the couple's love for bird-watching. Paul wrote the copy for the invite and gave Kidd a rough sketch of the two birds and he took it from there. The invite appears as a listing within the Florida section of the listings in the South. The 2007 Regional Design Annual will be included in the November/December 2007 issue.

The PRINT Regional Design Annual is a must-read for any designer wanting to catch a glimpse of all the best creative work nationwide. PRINT is a three-time winner of the American Society of Magazine Editors' National Magazine Award for General Excellence (Circulation Under 100,000), most recently in 2005. Since 1940, PRINT has been dedicated to tracking new creative and technological advances in visual communications, and to presenting these developments to readers in a thoughtful, energetic, visually striking magazine.
