The Robin Shepherd Group Ad Campaign Selected for Coveted Communication Arts Online Exhibit

Jacksonville, FL (April 07, 2008) – An ad campaign designed by Jacksonville-based advertising agency, The Robin Shepherd Group, has been chosen to appear on the world-renowned Communication Arts Web site as part of the coveted online exhibit.

The campaign, created for the Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens, was a way to enhance attendance and showcase the true stars of the show – the animals.

Billboards highlighted the faces of exotic animals, such as birds, panthers and monkeys allowing their eyes to form the "O's" in the word "ZOO".

"The Robin Shepherd Group really hit the ball out of the park with this campaign," said Dennis Pate, executive director of the Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens. "We have some of the most magnificent animals and exhibits in the country at our zoo and these billboards did a wonderful job of showcasing that."

This is the fourth time in the last 12 months that The Robin Shepherd Group has been featured in some way by Communication Arts. A poster campaign for the John Tully Surf Camp in Jacksonville Beach was showcased online last March, an ad for The Florida Times-Union appeared in the printed edition last October and an interview with Associate Creative Director Damon Williams ran online last month. The Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens campaign can be viewed at www.commarts.com beginning April 4, 2008.

The Communication Arts Online Exhibit is an extension of the Communication Arts Advertising Annual. Juried by nine leading creative directors, art directors and writers, Communication Arts displays the best in consumer and institutional print ads along with posters, television and radio commercials. Communication Arts is one of the most exclusive major advertising competitions in the world.
